My Brothers Wedding - Part Three

Sorry this story is so long guys, if you go on my page a lot then you know my passion is writing so please, read on!

Hey Baby I Think I Wanna Marry You...literally though marry me

We are in the car, me, mum, dad, my other older brother Daniel and my long lost friend Cassie. I'm so excited that my brothers getting married but at the same time I'll be glad when the ceremonies over so then it will be done and they'll be no more stressing or worrying!
Ok so we pulled up outside the church and we all scrambled out of the car, trying to look as elegant as we could but completely failing immensely. There are people gathered outside of the church, It's funny because my exact thoughts at the time were "wow they all look like peacocks" for people reading this that have been to a wedding before you'll understand, the women just do not know when to quit I mean C'MON PEOPLE, the hair pieces that are worn to weddings just keep going more and more over the top, like seriously it's like there's some sort of secret competition between all the middle aged women like "who can pull off the biggest hair piece" seriously ladies you look like you've just come out of a zoo with the amount of absurd feathers sticking out of your hair! So we're all stood outside the church talking.. but god knows why because it's freezing and windy, the wedding was August 17th and for some of you reading this and thinking "That's one of the hottest months of the year its summer" you obviously haven't visited Britain because we are of course known for our perfect drizzly weather are we not? So anyways we see Ashleigh (the bride) arrive in a beautiful bently and we all just melt because when she does finally manage to carefully get our of the car with help from her very loving father, she looks absolutely magnificent, a vision of beauty! We all scramble into the church to take our seats and yeeeeah bitches thats right I get front row because I'm immediate family woooop! When I enter my row I see my brother at the front of the church waiting nervously although he tries to hide it, and for a split moment, there is no-one in the church but me and him, and in that moment I don't see the arrogant, cocky, annoying brother of mine, I see the strong and handsome man he has grown and matured into, and that's when I realized that my brother has grown up and he is no longer my stupid older brother but he is a man. Then the moment has gone and I'm back to reality. Everyone is told to stand and the music starts.. thats right everyone the classic music for a traditional wedding.. gangnam style! HA joking.. here comes the bride starts to chime through the organ and here not only comes the bride but come my beautiful new almost sister-in-law, she enters with grace and elegance clutching her fathers arm, in front of her, the people she has grown up with and shared her most sacred memories with, her best friends, the bridesmaids! The glow of the bride fills the room and everyone is sent into slow sighs, sighs of how proud everyone must be of her! Her and my brother lock eyes and the electricity in the room is obvious! God must be uniting my brother and his fiáncé today because the feeling of love in the church is definitely here!
The ceremony went perfectly I won't go into to much detail because writing down every detail might bore some of you, there was one however amusing moment when the hymns began because my uncle's vocals behind me were louder than a baby crying, I used the "baby-crying" example because he quite literally sounded like a whining baby! But YAY my brother and Ashleigh are married and I have a new sister! Things were going just perfectly.. but if you want to find out where things went wrong please continue reading my next post! Thanks guyssss!!!

My Brothers Wedding- Part Two

I hope you are enjoying my take on my brothers wedding, if you're liking the story of this crazy event then please keep reading and if you're on my page for the first time then please go below and read part 1.

Ding Dong The Wedding Beckons

The big day came so quickly.. probably because I didn't get to sleep until 3:15AM !!
I woke up feeling crappy because of the lack of sleep I had had, but it was okay because it was my brothers wedding and nothing was going to put a downer of this day for me, It was 7:30am and I rushed downstaires to wish my almost new sister-in-law Ashleigh good luck, my dad was giving her a lift to the hair dressers to meet the bridesmaids.. I got asked to be a bridesmaid but turned down the offer as 1. I'd probably trip up or do some god awful stunt that would result in not only embarrassment for me but for my whole family and 2. because audiences make me nervous! So anyway I rushed downstairs and wished her luck, I'd of hugged her but I'm quite reserved and a very sarcastic person so that's really not a me thing to do.. unless I'm drunk in which case I become very affectionate! So yeah Ashleigh left and it was about 7:50 which gave me approximately 3 hours to get ready. This should be a breeze I thought... boy was I wrong? Firstly I decided to dye my hair, I needed to as I had roots the size of china.. i have long hair ok! and that was that, after I'd dyed my hair i got straight into the shower to wash off any excess hair dye and remove it from my fore-head and neck.. i can never manage to keep hair dye clean and away form my skin! I applied my fake-tan and did my eyelashes make-up etc. etc. you get the picture.. but then... DING DONG! holy shit I'd completely forgotten, Cassie (an old school friend of mine) was to attend my brothers wedding as I needed a plus one!
So in walks Cassie, she waltzes into my room by this time it's 10:20am and the wedding starts at 11am, Cassie was literally in slacks, she had no make-up on and had a bulging bag over her shoulder, she greeted me with a huge grin looking rather excited! "Cassie the wedding starts in like 40 minutes and we're setting off for the church in about 25 minutes, get ready!!!" I ordered.

She looked worried but proceeded to get herself ready, I wish I could be as laid back as her, just pacing herself to get ready whilst I was running around like a headless chicken. Cassie then decided she didn't want to wear the dress she'd arrived with in her bag so voluntary decided to rummage through my wardrobe to find herself a dress.. she picked one.. one of the best dresses I own may I just add! She did however look beautiful in this dress. We were now ready! ready for the ceremony, it was 10:50am but trust me that's early for us, we're always late even for our own events..

to find out what happened next please read my next post..

My Brothers Wedding- Part One

well well well.. It's that time again everyone! If you have no idea what i'm talking about then let me elaborate,
that time when we have to reminisce past memories that we really rather wouldn't, although I love my brother and his bride very much and although it was a lovely wedding and a beautiful ceremony, some of the events that happened that day/night will haunt me forever..

Lets start at the beginning shall we,
The night before the wedding
It twas the night before the wedding and all was.. HECTIC, seriously my house was busier than a topshop store would be if they were giving away clothes for free! My mum was rushing around trying to find my brothers hat, when I say hat I mean his army hat, he was getting married in special army gear as he is in the military! My dad was getting more and more frustrated as he couldn't find his wine.. It probably made it worse that me and my sister-in-law-to-be had been guzzling it secretly in my room! Then there was my brother who was supposed to be at his friends house as it's tradition for the bride and groom to sleep in separate accommodation so that they won't see each other the say of the wedding! Ashleigh the bride-to-be was stressing about last minute things like if the cake was going to be transported safely to the reception or if there would be enough champagne for the guests or if the guests would even show up for that matter!!! I was worrying about the most important things obviously like if I would have enough time to dye my hair in the early morning or if I should fake tan then or in the morning! Finally at around half 11pm at night everyone was a bit more calm and ready to settle down and relax for the night but NO my ever-so-smart brother announced right at the last minute before he left for his friends house that he'd promised the minister that he would print out 30 leaflets of the two hymns that would be sung in the church, he then told me and his bride-to-be that we would have to quickly do them on my laptop and print them out so they would be ready for the morning! Me and Ashleigh couldn't believe it but we couldn't ignore it either so whilst he swanned off willy-nilly without a care in the world to his friends house, me and ashleigh trudged upstairs and started copy and pasting the hymns to a nice leaflet template in Microsoft word, we started printing the 30 leaflets off and sat on my bed to reminisce about memories and laugh at all the things her and jake (my brother) had been through in the past 3 years they'd been together, we did this over nice mugs of rosé wine, we had mugs as we couldn't find the wine glasses! Only 7 of the leaflets had printed when the printer had come to a stop, we spent about 2 hours trying to fix it until we realized it had run out of bloody ink! Bad news was we had no more ink cartridges left, brilliant! It was now just about to turn 3am and we hadn't made any progress whats so ever, my father encouraged us to give up and get some sleep because the minister would have the hymns in the church already and it wouldn't be any bother. So we decided to go to sleep.. I guess I was just going to have to do my fake tan in the morning then!

The reason I haven't been blogging very much is I've just had so so much on, It was my brothers wedding (which I'll be making a post about.. maybe even later tonight) then I went to Austria on a family vacation WOOO! (I'll also be making a post about this so stay tuned) Then like a few days after I came home I started college, now I dropped out of college last year after I turned 17 because silly me, I thought yeah I'm gonna be inspired by all the successful that dropped out of school and made there lives amazing! Unfortunately I'm just not a creatively motivated and pretty much went down hill.. so sometimes the choices we make aren't always the best! So yeah I'll be 18 on November the 5th (YEAH THATS RIGHT BITCHES BONFIRE NIGHT) and I'm at college with the year below, It's going pretty well I'll keep you updated with more posts on that in the future!

So yeah these are the distractions that have been keeping my from my beautiful online community!
